INTO THE FRAY a groove metal band from Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.

Back in 2013, in the dark basement of Moscow’s industrial zone, where the first rehearsal base was located, the sprouts of our today's team were born. During the seven years of it's existance it changed names, song titles, members, even made a one year stop. And finally came to a result, deciding with the sound, with membership and with the songs subject.

Only the music style was unaltered from the first days. We've chosen a Pantera and Lamb Of God - styled groove metal, decorating it with adjacent styles. Due to the interest of some members in militarism, lots of tracks became fulfilled with war-based lyrics; however, there's always a place for psychoanalysis and dystopia in them. Also we were inspried by an oldschool recordings of Hatebreed and more recent atmospheric releases of Whitechapel.

Nowadays INTO THE FRAY has three songs from an upcoming self-titled album recorded. Due to the pandemic restrictions and other crazy events around the world, the recording goes slower, than it was expected. Nevertheless there is more than 60% of work ready, and the longplay will be finished against all odds. First three tracks you can hear are made using the drummachine, but for now all of the songs are re-recorded with the live drums.
